Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receipt, excluding Saturday and Sunday.

All orders to England and Wales are sent on a next day delivery service. Orders to Scotland are sent on a 48-hour service. For orders outside this area, please call us on 01254 61900 and we will be able to provide you with an up-to-date delivery quotation.

Occasionally delays can be caused by products going out of stock; this is unusual and when this does occur our manufacturing and warehousing teams work hard to ensure the delay is kept to an absolute minimum. We will always advise if this situation occurs and keep you up to date at all times.

A large percentage of our orders are dispatched using a national carrier and will require a signature upon delivery.

The remaining smaller orders maybe dispatched using Royal Mail; again, a signature maybe required upon delivery.

If you have not received your order within five working days, please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

Carriage Charges

All carriage charges include three elements: packaging, handling and the actual delivery.

Orders to UK Mainland = £7.95

FAQs Relating to Delivery

Who should I contact if I have a query with the delivery with my order?

If you have a specific query, please email orders@able2.uk or telephone our Customer Services Team on 01254 619000 quoting your order reference and our team will be more than happy to assist.

If I order more than one item, will they be delivered together?

We try wherever possible to deliver orders with multiple items together, however occasionally circumstances can dictate that such orders maybe split over one or more deliveries.

Who will deliver my order?

The majority of orders dispatched will be delivered by a national carrier however occasionally Royal Mail maybe used as our preferred carrier for smaller, less heavy consignments.

Will I need to sign for my order?

Yes, with the majority of deliveries an acceptance of delivery signature will be required by the carrier from the recipient.

When can I expect my order to be dispatched?

We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as is possible and to deliver your item(s) within two/three working days.

Larger, heavier items; and those that are manufactured to order (“By The Metre” and custom cutting) can incur longer dispatch and delivery schedules.

We do not dispatch on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays as our office and warehouse are closed. Our office and warehouse are also closed over the Christmas period each year. Notification of this closure is made by pop-up notice when first arriving on the website.

 

Refunds & Returns

We hope that you are happy with your order, but appreciate that at times this may not be the case.

Cancellation Procedure

  1. You have the right to cancel the order except for made to measure Products within 14 days of receipt of the Products provided that the Products are not damaged, opened or used.
  2. All cancellations must be made in writing to Us within 14 days of receipt of Your order, either by email to orders@able2.uk or in writing to Able2 UK Limited of Moorgate Street, Blackburn, BB2 4PB. The cancellation must detail the Product(s) being returned.
  3. If You do cancel within 14 days and in accordance with the procedure stated in 6.2 then You will be entitled to a full refund by Us of all monies debited by Us within 14 days of receipt of the returned items back to Able2 UK. It will be your responsibility to re-pack the goods and to pay for delivery back to Able2 UK. Please also ensure you get a ‘Proof of Posting’ from Royal Mail, as if the returned goods are lost in transit, we will need evidence of postage to process the refund. A refund will be processed when the goods have been received back to Able2 UK, and the refund for the cost of the goods, will only be credited to the credit card account which was used to make the original purchase. Able2 UK reserve the right to refuse a refund or reduce the refund should the goods be either used or not in the original packaging. Goods should be returned to Returns, Practical Surfaceware, Bridge Mill, Moorgate Street, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB2 4PB.
  4. If You cancel Your order but do not comply with clause 2 then You will be entitled to a refund of the cost of the Products minus the cost for Us to collect the Products from You.

Cancellation – Bespoke and Cut to Order Items

Please note that should you wish to return any items that are cut or otherwise fulfilled to your specification, then you will not be entitled to a refund unless the items are faulty.
